The culinary offerings here are a true celebration of Italy’s rich flavors, showcased in dishes that not only satiate but enchant the senses. Start your meal with the Arancini Arte Cafe, golden rice balls oozing with mozzarella and peas, or the delectable Tuna Tartare served with creamy avocado and a zesty chipotle mayo—a fresh and vibrant way to whet your appetite. For a warm starter, the crispy Calamari Fritti with its delicate crunch and light, tangy tomato sauce leaves an irresistible impression.

Among the antipasti, the Eggplant Balls offer a unique vegetarian take, baked with ricotta and tomato sauce that is both hearty and comforting. Pasta lovers will be thrilled with the luscious Fettuccine Al Tartufo Nero, enriched with the earthy aroma of black truffle, or the classic, comforting Spaghetti Al Pomodoro, a simple yet sublime dish that sings with ripe tomato goodness.

Main courses, or secondi, especially shine at Arte Cafe. The Pollo Piccata is elevated with a lemon caper butter sauce served alongside creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach, harmonizing bright and savory flavors in every bite. The Pollo Milanese delivers a perfectly breaded chicken experience, nestled on a bed of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and shaved Parmigiano—lighter yet indulgent. For those seeking something heartier, the Tagliata di Manzo, sliced sirloin steak with roasted potatoes and a rich red wine reduction, feels like a refined celebration of Italian tradition.

Dessert lovers will find themselves enchanted by the offerings here, especially the Tiramisu, praised by many as “phenomenal” and delightfully creamy with the perfect balance of espresso-soaked layers and mascarpone richness. The fluffy, buttery Vanilla Brioche French Toast makes for an indulgent brunch treat, while the delicate Profiteroles provide a sweet, airy finale to your meal.

Beverage enthusiasts are well catered to with an impressive wine bar selection and craft cocktails such as the refreshing Arte Aperol Spritz, the summery Watermelon Sugar cocktail, or the boldly spiced La Picosa D'Arte margarita featuring muddled jalapeño for an exciting kick. The bar’s attentive and knowledgeable staff enhance the experience with a genuine passion for pairing and presentation.

We had a large group lunch (26 people) at Arte Cafe and it was fantastic. The food was very good and very reasonably priced, and the tiramisu was phenomenal! The managers were super flexible and accommodated our constantly changing number of attendees. Service was great. We especially appreciated the private room they gave us and that they let us order from the normal lunch menu. I highly recommend Arte Cafe, especially for groups.

What a great spot! Their food was really a hit! I had some Omelette. The perfection of the goat cheese spinach and eggs did a good job. I really loved the atmosphere, they have a good number of seats, a bar and the ambiance really is nice. Can’t say more and everything better in person, but the ambiance really won my heart. A great spot to hang out and enjoy the weather. Servers were really attentive and very accommodating making the visit more pleasant.

We had our wedding at Arte Cafe and it was absolutely perfect. We had the most wonderful picturesque old school New York Italian-American ambiance. The manager Ariel was extremely generous and accommodating. The event coordinator Alexis was attentive, thoughtful, organized and knowledgeable. The general wait staff, bar staff, and kitchen crew were incredibly professional, experienced, and gracious. They made our dreams come true!

I love this place. I had my daughter's Bridal Shower here in the Skylight Room and I couldn't be more satisfied. The food was exquisite, the service was exceptional and they were very accomodating and easy to work with. Everyone said how great everything was. Thank you so much Arte Cafe for making our event special.

Cute local neighborhood spot with standout service! Killer happy hour as well with a lot of options. The food was good as well (oysters were super fresh, tuna tartare was really good too and a generous portion. Pizza not to our liking but a different style)

We had our wedding dinner at Arte Cafe in the Skylight Room. Alexis helped us plan the whole day and gave us so many options to work through, and Auriel and team ensured the day-of went perfectly. Not to mention how much our guests loved the food!

My favorite Italian restaurant. All their food is great but my go-to dish is the lasagna- made with THE most delicious ragu I've ever tasted. The staff is professional and kind and they even sang to me on my birthday (which involved lava cake!) I recommend this place to everyone looking for Italian food on the UWS. They also have outdoor seating, so if you have a dog they can enjoy a bite at Arte Cafe too.

Picked this location on a whim because it was close to the Beacon and didn’t want to move the car to go eat. Reviews were good and it looked quaint. So glad we went here! Food was amazing, atmosphere was perfect, and the service was impeccable. Drinks were so good too! Highly recommend Cafe Arte to everyone. There were some families there, but primarily couples and larger adult groups. We’ll go back with our teenagers. Thank you for a great dinner Cafe Arte!
